Challenged Children

These conditions are often linked to nutritional deficiencies, various toxins and multiple infections and Dr. Levin is notable for treating patients with non-invasive procedures.
Heavy Metal Toxicities
Lead, Mercury, Cadmium, Arsenic, Etc.
In 1990, Dr. Levin was the first East Coast physician to enter an IRB study for mercury toxicity treatment. Metal poisoning is now slow, chronic, ubiquitous and frequently misdiagnosed.
Natural HormoneTherapy
Adrenal
Thyroid
Menopause
Andropause (Male)
With more than 40 years of experience supporting Hormone Replacement Therapy coupled with his recent research in the use of Human Growth Hormone and the new Genomics™ testing, Dr. Levin keeps his practice on the cutting edge ofAdvanced Longevity Medicine. He has been using Bioidentical Hormone Replacement Therapy (BHRT) since the mid-1990s. He utilizes thyroid and adrenal balancing as well.
Advanced Longevity Medicine
Emphasizing quality of life in the elderly
Recent informational releases by the CDC (US Center for Disease Control) concur with Dr. Levin's long time philosophy that "virtually all human diseases result from the interaction of genetic susceptibility factors and modifiable environmental factors, broadly defined to include infections, chemical, physical, nutritional and behavioral factors" (CDC, August, 2000) - and now we can identify the genetic susceptibility!
Cardio Vascular DisordersAmerican medicine is great in emergencies, but that is too late for starting to treat the major cause of death in this country! Heart attacks and strokes are preventable when the environment is modified to correct for various genes!
Food Allergies
Asthma
Chronic Fatigue
Fibromyalgia
In 1985, in Phoenix, Arizona, Dr. Levin presented scientific research linking chronic systemic yeast with parasites, affecting diseases such as Allergies, Asthma and Chronic Fatigue/ Fibromyalgia.
Many physicians throughout the country have adopted Dr. Levin's teachings. All of these patients have complex problems but can frequently be restored to health when treatment addresses the multiple causes rather than merely giving medication for the symptoms.
Lyme Disease

Dr. Levin has been treating Lyme disease since the mid-1990s. Dr. Levin himself has had Lyme disease twice but successfully treated it early on both occasions. This makes three important points:

  1. Early treatment is short and effective.
  2. Unlike most other infections, long-term immunity is not guaranteed after recovery or immunization.
  3. It is impossible (outside of a very few research facilities) to differentiate a new infection from a recurrence of an old one that has not been treated long enough. Knowing when to stop is often more difficult than making the diagnosis. Late diagnosis and short treatment is the formula for disastrous results.
Intestinal Dysbiosis
Unhealthy Bacteria, Viruses, Parasites and Yeast
Candida is as real and as overlooked, as under treated and as misunderstood, and maligned as Lyme disease. We were taught in medical school that systemic Candida was a fatal complication of immune suppression, as with cancer, chemotherapy, and eventually AIDS. Today Candida is so commonplace that a serious error of logic has occurred-"If everybody has it, then it must be normal!" Yet, it is only one of a multitude of unhealthy contaminants of the intestinal tract that contributes to chronic illness.

Chelation Therapy

Dr. Levin was the earliest practitioner of Chelation in New York, beginning in 1973.

DiabetesDiabetes is another clear example of the genes interacting with the environment, so that Diabetes can be modified by correcting diet, exercise, toxins, infections, etc.
